And I took off the power booster, but kept the stock mastercylinder. It stops fine at the end of the track but doesn't like to stop at slow speeds or hold the car against the converter.
I have new rotors and the organic pads.

art if your still using the master from the power brake set-up , i'm guessing the pedal is rock hard. it has to large a bore for manual brakes. when running manual brakes you need to go to a smaller bore, and modify the pedal ratio.
i would get a brake pressure guage, and see how much you get at the calipers. usually 900 to a 1000 max should do. i'll bet now your in about the 400 range? if you want send me a pm with some info on the calipers ,master cyl.bore size ,and current pedal ratio, and i'll try to get you sorted out.

Thanks Myron. The 15" wheels are all over the place. But the shortest tire for them is 22"

If I leave the same master cylinder. (it has a small bore) but increase the ratio. Will the car hold better?
I have very little pedal now, but it is rock hard. Car stops good at the finish, but terrible driving around the pits. Or coming up against the converter.
