Talking about fuel, how do IHRA and NHRA do fuel checks ? do I need to have a way to get fuel from the fuel rail? If so what do I need.Any other help anybody has will greatly be appraceated. Thanks again looking forward to running stock classes and having some fun.

Tony, I use a fuel pressure test gauge that screws onto a schrader valve on the fuel rail. My gauge has a pressure relief valve and a short tube coming off of it so I can drain fuel right out of the fuel rail.

I should have been clearer. You can not have any street fuel contaminating the race fuel. Fuels is some parts of the country (like where I live in AZ) have chemicals that NHRA does not like. If contaminated, you will be DQ'd. It's a long process to cleanse the syste,. I know, I would drive my car to an NHRA event and flush it out. But then when you get that #1 qualifying position, it's kind of worth it! ;)

Owen, Thanks for the info on the fuel pressure test gauge.Jeff I will be draining the tank of all street gas and running C-10 thru the system before I go to any events,Thanks for the heads up.

I would like to wish all a MERRY CHRISMAS and have a safe and happy holiday from my family to yours,
Tony K.

That's what I did with my car. It takes more that draining because you can't get every drop out. It has to be flushed with the race gas. My pick-up would get the first batch of race gas after it was flushed through the system. My '72 F100 360with 8.0:1 compression didn't run any better with C-16 and the wallet sure didn't like it! The filters sometimes need replacing. It was a real pain in the you-know-what.
