Re: Talk about being under-rated!!!
There is a big difference here, Bob came up with the combo and built it and also made it work, do you see any others doing one ? I wonder why ?, because it takes a big set of Balzs to give it a try and succeed.

Turbo cars might throw you a curve every now and then. But an NA car is an NA car no matter what motor is under the hood. |
Re: Talk about being under-rated!!!
For any of you that think an off the wall combo is so cheap to build.
Try to build one. |

We were just told, during the red light debate, that there really wasn't an advantage to a faster car. It was just a matter of preference. Also, years ago, during the deep stage drubbing, it was said by guys who never tried it, that is really wasn't necessary. You just weren't looking at the tree right. I guess you haven't been following along here .You better rethink that position. ; -) |
Re: Talk about being under-rated!!!
It's not about money Artie, It's a cupcake! You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. That's the point, the car could run 11.80's and nobody cares. There's a difference between a good combo and a MISTAKE. My problem is NHRA will not correct it therefore making every other U combo uncompetetive therefore noone will go back. One year there was 13 U/SA's at No Problem it was won by a cupcake. Since then maybe 2 show up. Why tow 10 hrs. to run a N car in U? Or run a C car thats in H running 10.40. It is killing the car counts and more importantly the desire to try.
