Re: Wheelie bars
i have contacted both parties suggested below, thank you for your replies. yes the Calvert wheelie bar rides on the trunk floor and they do suggest a 3/16 plate be installed to the bottom on the trunk so the force of the wheel that touches it does not dent it. i have seen photos and it looks good, when the wheel hits the ground it should put more force on the driving tires based on its design. i also talked to a guy at Ken Keir's shop and his bars are equally impressive and simple to install for sure. Both seem to have a good following other than the A/stick cars. Kier's is stiffening up his bar for these cars and Calvert's have been designed with these cars in mind.

Re: Wheelie bars
Does anybody know if that single wheelie bar that ken keir makes will work on a 93-2002 4th gen camaro/firebird. I am wondering if the panhard bar will get in the way.

Re: Wheelie bars
hey Rob....the Ken Keir bars will work on the 4th generation Firebirds and Camaros but from my own experience on a Camaro I did not anticipate the 12 bolt inspection cover relocation to allow for the aluminum "sandwich" plate that the bars mount to. In my case I had to buy the LPW ultra extra low profile cover to fit under the sway bar because the cover now sits further away from the housing. It comes with special Ken Keir length bolts to allow for the cover thickness. I ended up massaging the trunk floor pan to keep the bars from hitting, but I run mine very high just for safety 3-4 inches below the bumper. I did end up modifying the panhard bar, it was just too close to suit me. I hope this helps, but it is a very nice set up once you jump through all the hoops.

Re: Wheelie bars
The best wheelie bar for your money is by far Ken Keirs'. It's pretty simple to set up and they work flawlessly.
