Re: can you name the driver?
The picture of the car looks green, not black.......
Better luck next time. |
Re: can you name the driver?
I don't think the car was black....it had a reddish tint and maybe some red flake in the paint. It was a gorgeous car and fast. The only SS/JA faster back then was Charlie Taylor........ I ran SS/JA for 2 years back then. A very populated class in that era. 11.1's was fast in about 1980 and 10.90's were popping up by 1982...Too fast for me.....I ran some 11.20's.....

Re: can you name the driver?
Not to be a critic, because I wasn't even thought of when these pictures were taken, but can someone tell me where on the camero the first picture represents?
Unless the car was repainted and the gold stripe up the c pillar was changed, they're not proportionate to each other? look at the amount of gold stripe from the edge of the sticker in the first pic and the amount on the full size car pic. Maybe the passenger side's stripe was thinner?? to me the pics are of 2 different cars unless I'm missing something, like I said I wasn't around back then. Brad |
Re: can you name the driver?
Hawk Bros Mav, the second photo of the whole car was taken in 1979 at the gators. The first picture is of a decal for 1980.
