You know me Chip, when we are @ the track we have a good Time! , otherwise whats the point, lol, $1100 for fuel just sucks. It is a long haul 12hrs, its like you coming to skyview dragway for the points race...that is my closest race besides MIR.

Had it not been for the $10K Combo in the Hills, I would've gone.

That being said, in my opinion, a Fri/Sat race is MORE difficult on a work schedule. If it's a long tow, you have to take off not only Friday, but probably Thursday as well. That's a guaranteed 1 work day missed, maybe 2 depending on how far you have to go. If it's Sat/Sun, you can likely get away with zero days off work, leaving Friday after work, and making it home Sunday night. Only the people that go deep in the rounds may get crunched for time. 3/4 of the field was gone by 2pm, so even with a 9hr tow, you're home by midnight.

I have an idea. Next year you can call it "The London Brawl". Get it? London Brawl? OK, never mind. Jim

Or if it's really hot, call it "The London Broil"! OK, I'll stop now. Jim
