Re: Another ss/gt ?

Danny, there have been times, including right now, where we've had to just stop. Take a deep breath. Take a night, or a weekend, or even a weekend, off. Away. Then come back, take "inventory", evaluate, and even call friends for help. We still don't know what we've got. We're probably going to take it and a relatively untested B/SA stocker to the two day combo at Bowling Green next weekend, just to get some passes on them, and see if we've "fixed" either one, or made progress.

We actually went through this with the orange car in Stock. In fact, this year, fighting with the "evil green Super Stocker as Kevin calls it, every so often, Kevin and I look at each other, and one of us will say "the stocker has spoiled us for a couple of years, how soon we forget the first two YEARS with that car were a constant struggle".

And it (the orange 69 Camaro stocker) was a complete running car that had been campaigned with relative success by Peter Biondo. The first two years, we struggled at every single race, just to be marginally competitive and somewhat consistent. There were times we went past half season with zero progress.

Alan I can relate to that.

At least we have my stocker and it has already been through this pain. So maybe he needs to just take my stocker and play with it for a bit.....thanks for the boost

Danny, I would be very happy to offer any help I can to get you going. I'd really hate to see you guys give up, I think you'll get a handle on it, probably sooner rather than later.

Danny if SS is anything like stock ( at least for me) you make a change that on paper will help ...the car slows....you work more...then when all is said & done it picks up! Rem just change one thing @ a time! (doing more then that will have you chasing your tail a long time)

car seems to die( or drop rpm really fast) once it launches

Are you sure you're not having a fuel delivery problem? A car that worked fine before can start doing stuff like this when more power is introduced.
