I use a 8" rim on my Nova. Ideal would be 5" of back spacing. I had 4 1/2 " BS wheels and they put the tire against the lip (I've only partially trimmed my lip). I then tried 5 1/2" BS wheels and was into the inner fender. I now run the 5 1/2" BS wheels with a 1/2" spacer.

Good luck finding a 8" wheel with 5" BS. I couldn't. At least not in the Jegs or Summit catalouges.
