The coils I mentioned are for the MSD 6series analog boxes, the Blaster II's ( cylinder style) heat soak quick and loose performance once that happens. The TFI style coils don't heat soak and have solid output for any length of time of use. The coil for best effort for the MSD 6al2 boxes would be the MSD 8253 coil. When your trying to run an index or the same every pass then a drifting coil is not what you want. I hope this helps.

Good morning, Yes that setup is a good match and will work fine. Next time if you need to replace the coil take a look at either a Autozone C-839 or Carquest FD-478. They are usually under $35 dollars and all you need to do is build a couple of Alum L brackets with some bolts & nylock nuts and your down the road. Either of these coils are great matches to the MSD box & you can't beat the price of admission!

Good afternoon, sorry for not returning the phone call we have been trying to fit 36 hours in a 24 hour sack down here. As for the cover, we use a product made by Super Glue called Liquid Rivets. I am guessing the glue had not finished setting before I packed it up. If you want to fix it yourself grab some super glue and run a bead around the flat surface of the case. Then take the cover and hold it there for a minute or so, you can then use a book or something some what heavy and flat to lay on top. If you give it overnight you should be good to go. If you want me to handle it just pack it up and I will take care of it. Have a good weekend and try to stay out of trouble.
