Don't know about the 'Cuda, but didn't the Duster end up in Div. 1? Thought I saw the car at the E-Town points race...circa '73...as SS car...(an easy transformation then.)

It didn't have the paint job in the picture posted here...possibly purple in color? I do remember "Coletti" and "Riddler" lettered on car...Did have a photo somewhere...but it's lost...

Could have been new owner, someone from Colletti's team in similar car, or Mark himself (on tour?)

Sorry Hemi Moose...didn't mean to steal the thread...I know you're trying to track down the 'Cuda! BTW, the fellow with the Coletti performance manual...that's really neat!

ss wannabee, there was another thread earlier about the Coletti Dusters a while back, just check a few pages back in the nostalgia forums, there's lots of info about them there...anyway here's another '69 340 Barracuda called 'King-Cuda' with the Coletti name on the front fenders.

Re: 68 "Riddler" Barracuda

Paul... Dan Hicks from Maine purchased the Hamburger Duster and ran it as SS/IA.
Dan was at that '73 E-Town points meet going rounds with the car...might have won the event? Car was run at all the New England area tracks among others...not sure where it is today....

Went to many Northeast Div. 1 events during that time frame...don't recall the Bill Davitt car...maybe he didn't travel?

I learned about them from a guy out of Webster, NY named Glen Wessel that ran an I/SA '69 fast back 340 Cuda called "King Cuda" at ESTA in Syracuse, NY in the day. His engines were built by Coletti. I was young and had a '72 340 Demon that I wanted to learn about.

Yep to all your questions...I was also wondering myself what the meaning of the 'hand placed in the grille' was all about.
