Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
Speed was 153.88. Much more left with clutch and tranny tuning. Heard the motor was de-tuned, as well.

Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
You knew this was going to happen as soon as the 6.0 class was added.
I believe this will cause all of the stockers to be caged as part of the saftey requirements. Maybe even 32/5 pants and jacket. I am planning for it. I still have to congratulate Don. He is one who works on his car and doesn't hold much back. Makes me want to own one. Chris. What do think he would run with one of your motors? |
Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?

Great Job Don, Wow is that fast. I remember when the Rasier gang went 10.99 in A/S in the 70`s. Thought that was quick.

Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
Congrats to Mr. Fezell. He told me last fall he had something up his sleeve for the car over the winter and it shows. 8's on 9's!!!
Best part for me is it is the "Daddy Warbucks II" car. A tribute to my idol and good friend Phil Bonner. |
Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
6.50 x 466HP = 3,029 + 170 = 3,199 pounds
Moroso calculator: 3,200 pounds @ 8.95 et = 152 MPH and 850 Horsepower This run will be a banner headline for the paparazzi. |
Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
I believe the rating with a stick is 491
