It appears they are held in place with 3M body panel structural adhesive.:eek:

It sure is, but there is no guarantee that the loaner will run the index.

The 08 Cobra Jet that I drive lost it's scoop (ironically at Orlando) going thru the finish line and yes, it bounced off of the roof and put a nice little dent in it. Thats why it now has a non painted scoop on it now. We got the replacement and didn't even bother painting it. Just bolted it on

...you would think the Chrysler engineers that designed the Drag Pak hood would not take the cheap way out when designing it...the old Challenger T/A hood was a one piece deal and the Shaker hood bubbles used on the old Challenger & Cudas were fiberglass units bolted together using threaded studs & nuts...or like the fake side scoops used on the other B-body Chargers, Superbees & Road Runners etc from back then..

My 08 CJ did the same thing at Orlando (ford sent me a new upgraded one under warranty)

Mack, come by my pit area, we got gum, thumb tacks, string, some paper clips, a clothes pin, and some Elmer's glue. We can have her fixed in no time.
