The response to the Showdown has been great. It looks like we will have a mix of beginners and some of the fastest cars out there. Should be fun!

If you can't make it out to see the race in person we will definitely have pics up on our Facebook page and I will work with Ken to make sure we get some great shots on here as well.

Thank you to all the racers who support the Cobra Jet program.

I'm driving 500+ miles Friday morning to Milan just to see the shootout. I was there last year also. Then headed 600+ miles Wednesday to Indy to hopefully see most of the same cars beat up on the COPOs & Drag Packs......:D

Booked hotel last week, heading up Thursday after work for Milan.

(I'm lucky for Indy, 1 hour drive north for me to make it my Home track.)

:) would someone be putting this on video? Sorry i am a chevy guy:D (brought up that way), but i have been a Candies Motorsports fan since i was 3 years old (still have polaroids)!!! anyone that travels 1400 plus miles oneway will def. be there to put on a good show!!!! i would love to watch this fast cars and good people!!!

even though im a chevy guy my boy (13) says dad the candies cars pait job is cool! i wish he could of saw the funny car in person!!

Thanks for the shout out from down south! Will try to keep things updated if possible. Will be pretty busy testing different combos, good place to do so. Will definitely try to fly the colors proud. :D

I wish I could do it that way. I have to return to MD.Sunday then work Monday-Wednesday then head to Indy....
