I have found Lane Weber, Mark Yacavone, John Calvert, Wade Owens, Scott Burton, and Chuck Rayburn thus far, who else here has been featured in a magazine? Just for fun for me to dig up and read about, heck maybe I've even missed a few?

Does Nostalgia Super Stock count? I'm not famous, but I was in Car Craft, June 1999. Page 100-101 in our '65 Dodge.

My brother and cousin were in Bracket Racing USA a few times - raced in the final of their Indy race two years in a row. Again, not in stock eliminator...sometime around 1996 ?

Car Craft did some articles in the 80's about Bob Lambecks
73-74 Dusters running in Stock Eliminator.

Interesting subject in this thread.
This winter if things are slow I'm going to dig out my 80's and 90's National Dragsters and look for some write ups on S/SS racers and scan them.

My dad, Curtis Smith, was in a lot magazines over the years. He was in Super Stock Magazine a couple of times, and Hot Rod Magazine's "Drag Racing" along with some more. This year he was in Drag Illustrated and on Car Craft Magazine's website for being inducted into the North Carolina Drag Racing Hall of Fame. Dad was the first sportsman driver to be on the cover of the IHRA Drag Review Magazine also.

One of the magazines did an article on my Shadow It was called "Frugal Flyer"
Years ago (hemi challenger days) 1979-1981. I used to make beer money by betting fellow bar patrons. That I could go to a newsstand and show them an article on me. We were in all of them at one time or another.

Hahaha. I'll dig through the Car Craft pile, and Rick I found your info on the HPP website. Very cool. Wade, you have a PM, and a big THANKS to everyone who has replied!

Maybe my winter "project" will be a stocker media database...
