Use head studs in place of bolts. Drill through housing and tube put a couple of bolts in to pin them together. ---Trevor

I was running a 12 bolt with good parts behind a 69 camaro with a 540" bbc and a Jerico. I launched at 5500 rpm and stretched the 7/16 MW cap screw main cap bolts and tore all the teeth off the ring gear. I then upgraded to a Tom's Differentials 1/2" main cap bolts and his cap. I also used a Tom's heat treated ring and pinion and I had no further issues with it until I sold it to a friend and I upgraded to a Strange 9".
