A simple fix to running slicks tubeless, is to coat the inside of your sidewalls with green "DAWN" dish soap. Let them dry for a couple of hours, then give them a second coat. Try it, doesn't cost much, and sure works for us. Eddie Rezac

Your right Eddie! We started doing our slicks like that back in the '70's, works like a charm!

No need for bead locks or glue. I always mark my tires at the valve core. Have seen a little movement (one inch or so) the first one or two passes, then none. 14 to 16 psi. I can't speak for bias tires, but I have not had a radial leak for a few years now. I have seen guys with screws leak a little at the screws.
