Be careful on the cam swap, some 1965 had a journal cut in the rear bearing.

Re: 1965 396/325 Holley Carb
Marvin sold Quick Fuel to the company that owns Holley. Marvin sits on the board of directors of all of it now.
Talk to Phil Vickhus, Zach Baker, or Scooter, they'll take care of you. All three of those guys have worked with us on our stuff. Zach is more accustomed to big inch stuff for the .90 super classes, and Top Sportsman / Pro Mod / Top Dragster, but he does work on the Stock Eliminator and Super Stock stuff. You can also call Jimmy Bridges, Jimmy does great things with the Quick Fuel and Holley carburetors. |
Re: 1965 396/325 Holley Carb
The new Holley-style carburetor that Quickfuel received NHRA certification for will work on the 1965 325HP 396, as it is the same size as the carb on the 1966 300HP 327 @ 1.562X1.562/1.250X1.313. I had spoken to the folks at Quickfuel to find out if they had made any plans to certify a smaller version for the 275/270HP, but there doesn't seem to be a big demand for that particular unit. Oh well!
