Tubular control arms may be stronger and offer better front end adjustment, but they are not always ligther, in some cases even heavier. I carry a stock set of extra upper and lower control arms for my Barracuda, just in case they are needed. Dyno

I can understand why, I have had to weld cracks in ours and just have a small block.
