Re: PURE STOCKERS - POST Your Pictures !

I had considered running my 1969 340 Barracuda as a Pure Stocker, but the IHRA Dallas track was on-off-on-off and right now it's back to on. I have another 340 short block on a stand with TRW replacement pistons and a set of J-heads that I had the 2.02 intake valves put it many years ago. I'd pull the original 340 since I don't want to ruin that block since I'm the second owner of an original 340 car. I like that I don't need a rollbar since I don't want to mess up an original car. I'll see what I can do to bolt in a driveshaft hoop without cutting up the floor too badly.

Actually James...
You should be able to find a Bolt On on from Summit.
If you are on an Barracuda Dodge Club Internet site ask them for advise..

In fact can do on Class Racer.
Maybe able to find a used one.

For cam and lifters contact Bullet Cams for the correct Cam.
That 340 should run deep 12's with good converter.

Send me a Picture of the Car, Class and a bit how you came to building a Pure Stocker..

Dan
