Same size bores?? And is that a priority oiling block?

I stand corrected...the block is the #12480047 bowtie sportsman series (it has std cam bearing sizes & priority oiling) it weighs @ 186lbs...both blocks are @ 4.060''. im going with the bowtie as I have three bonus goodies being @ a good weight, lifter bushings installed and a very fair price.... are the rollers cam bearing deal worth the investment?

The last Dart blocked small block I seen ran really, really good! It was well worth the investment.

Make sure lifters are fit to the bores, I machine a lot of blocks for larger cam cores and roller cam bearings seem to be a thing of the past. Less drag and harmonics with babbit cam bearings.

i'd be well safe with a coated Babbitt cam bearing...so with the moneys saved on the block and roller bearings I can put toward some good heads and take out a mortgage on the ring package! thankyou you all for the great help. class racer too. lets hope there's some bite!!!

The BBC cam tunnel is pretty popular in the SBC as well as the .904 lifter.
