There is no such thing as a cheap 4L60E. For me, $2800 is about the going price to build one that will hold real power. Starting with a good solid core with no real damage.

Dan, call Wayne as Dave stated earlier in the thread. He will do you right and is close. Known him for close to 20 years and he's one hell of a trans guy and racer.

Alan, I do understand the need for an HD expensive unit.
Some of my Impala B-Body friends get a similar unit for their up to 1000hp cars.
Mine only has 375 bhp so a more price friendly unit is a better fit.

Duane, thank you for suggesting Wayne, planning to call him real soon.

Tar Heal and I both belong to the B-Body community.
Shane Cobb stood out from a lot of builders when he was in business.
