So type carefully !

Well stated............................I agree.

It's one thing to get into heated exchanges occasionally, but otherwise be a contributing member of the forum. The only thing Ed ever contributed was a condescending attitude toward class racers, and being an all around Jack-hole. I'm all for a heated exchange, but do we really want this place to become like yellowbullet.com

My intention was not to start another mud slinging thread. Yes Ed could be abrasive but I work with people like that and I have to learn to deal with it. There is actually a forum on here for members only and Ed would not have even been able to post in there but no one thought of that, heck there have only been 2 threads in that forum this year. My point is be careful what you wish for. Example there are people on here that constantly complain about the new cars (not picking sides) so when all the guys with new cars send the Moderator PMs saying this guy is negative and hurting the growth of the support ,does Ken ban them too? Think of it like this

People swapping insults and other wise-*** remarks on the internet are like two dogs barking at each other threw a fence.
They usually start waging their tails when they come to an open gate.

Those complaining about the HP of the new cars did not resort to personal attacks againt other members. We can knock NHRA, and the automakers. But personal attacks should be over the top.

I never met the guy and it was obvious that some of his comments were rather controversial, but I think "personal attack" is a little extreme.(at least to the point of being BANNED)

Well I'll put it this way. I have been personallly attacked on here and almost planned a trip back north to settle it. Luckily my wife and better judgement changed my mind
It is usually people that have nothing to do with the thread that make the vicious remarks.
I'm not thin skinned I can take it as well as give it and usually like to stir the pot quite a bit. But I don't personally attack anyone..

Re: 1320 Ed

Honestly if someone seeks the please of derailing every thread in the stock super stock forums and continues to do so, how is that good for everyone else? What did this individual contribute in a positive manner? Nothing other than pissing off the majority of members that have decades of experience with stock / super stock cars. I for one appreciate all of the positive conversation and helpful hints that can be had, without filtering through the crap that has been going on for quite sometime.

Yes there is a racers only area to post, but why should someone that has no experience or contributing knowledge to come in and post comments that is just to irritate the people that are so passionate about our class racing.

Thank you for finally correcting this issue.

Sean
