That's right. Merry CHRISTmas. It's not about kwanzaa,ramadan,political correctness, globalization, all the stuff the rest of the world is full of the rest of the time. It's about the first advent of Christ, our Messiah, the Son of the Living God, currently seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High. His work of redemption for all humanity is complete, the Gospel message is out, he and we are awaiting his second coming. Meanwhile, let's rise above ourselves a bit, consider Him on this day that we commemorate His birth( whether its the actual date or not), and let's surround ourselves with those we love. After all, He wrote the book on love in the first place. That's why He came. Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.

I'm not smart enough to get it to embed here like Mark is.

That's one of those things I try to do every year. I watch 3 versions of "A Christmas Carol", because if you think about it, it is the story of what Christmas is, presented in the form of one man.

For those of you who claim this day is about the Christ in Christmas, may you spend this day building your relationship with Him rather than expending energy in socio-political arguments and frustrations about the "war on Christmas". If laws were passed and traditions were supported that attempted to make Christmas look like you think it ought to, but everybody's hearts were still cold toward Him, there would be no difference. The importance of Christmas starts with you and what you do. Agreement in ideas is good, but agreement in action is what changes things.
