Ive never run a can am race. Is there a membership fee or just enter and run? Heads ups? Gas, Weight?

Hi John,
We would be really happy to have you come race with us in Can - Am. You do not need to be a member to come race with us, BUT if you did join, you are guaranteed to receive MORE than the value of your membership in prizes and merchandise. There is not scales or fuel check ( we ask and trust everyone to keep the spirit of class racing in mind, and run your combination legal ). You must be able to dial your claimed class index or faster in eliminations, NO heads up runs. And you have to be ready to have a great time.

I am planning on going to the Empire race, as my daughter has moved to Cazenovia,N.Y.and I hate the ride home from Cicil. Also plan on running ESTA on Sept.28. Looking forward to going to a couple of tracks I've never run and meeting new racers.

Joe - you would drive to Cecil Cty for the divisional with w/ a race like this in your back yard? Just curious - I'm not knocking the points meet - but I see it as a great alternative.
Like Lee said - might be nice to try something different.

I plan on attending the race at Empire. What is the entry fee? Payouts? etc....

Entry is $100, and 100% of entry $ is payed out. If you go to the series web site, or Smith Performance, Fred can run you through the entire payout. Look forward to having you come race with us.

I agree, we need to support these events and the local tracks. I hope to make the short trip down from Rochester...most likely as a spectator, we're sidelined for the time being.

The ESTA race in September doesn't get much love for the $1500/win. As much as I like the idea of having to only worry about 4 rounds of racing (given previous car counts), it would be great to see a bigger turnout there as well. I'd recommend checking it out.

Looking forward to some local racing.
