I agree on the 4 cyl. While I can run my car in SS/PA, it would be nice to be able to put that same turbo 2.3 in a lighter based body. It would be nice if NHRA changed the GT rule to: "Any year eligible SS engine allowed in any year eligible SS body" ( within the same corporate make of course) The 14.0 lbs. per fact. h.p would limit certain combos tho. |

Speaking of station wagons, has anyone else thought about how cool it would be to build a Ford Flex, tubbed, big tires, 4-link, wheelie bars, sitting nice and low, 500hp SS only CJ engine (big blower) to run GT/AA or GT/BA. Well over 1000hp and 4170 lb in A or 4420 in B. Little bit of a different kind of FWD conversion.
