Good morning - Not exactly what we expected to wake up to this morning - sunshine ? nope.blue skies ? nope .warm temps ? nope .But at least its not raining and that is a plus for sure .Local weather guys say its to be overcast today with a high of 72 .The Sun will be peaking out around lunchtime to dry things out better .The temp at this time is 64 with 71 % humidity with the barometer at 29.21 and a final DA of 1842 .Not exactly mineshaft conditions .Oh -- the grains of water are at 67 plus in case you're interested .

Not sure who's out first today but it'll be awhile till that happens ..........later .

Jack, keep your eyes open for a single gal that will drag a floor jack through the rocks in the pits while balancing a tool box on her shoulder. My buddy's looking.:p

Both Stock and S/S got a shot in this morning - between the weather in the toilet and a strong headwind no one is setting any records today .Haven't had much to post as I had a turn in the tank this morning for using C-12 followed by a DQ thank you .Hopefully rd 2 will be a little kinder .............And I'll get back on the sheet ! ! !

Rough 1 st qual for me to. I'm 3270 lbs. came up 3210 on scales. I'm
Sure she saw the 7 as a 1. But after questioning it a little I pulled away. So I bought that weight. Came back to confirm and was fine. Curt was nice but informed me (correctly) I should have stayed put and told them it's wrong. I left so its on me. Totally fair but still sux for me.

Hopefully there will be a 2nd qual. Should be at the rate their moving.

The afternoon is dragging on - Stock got their second and final qualifier .S/S is to get another but because of time restraints its doubtful that they will as the Alcohol fields haven't been set yet .

Summer in New York state ? Today was downright chilly as it was sweater weather all day with the winds making the air cold .Tommorow its to be at least ten degrees warmer ......we'll see !

SuperStock trucks were out in full force here at the Valley ................

Finally - race day ! ! Normally Sunday we'd be going into round two in most classes but because of losing Fridays' program we will start fresh today .SuperStreet will be out first at 9 AM followed by Stock .With the odd number of cars (101) Brian Fink in his 80 Malibu K/SA will get the bye as his reward for qualifing #1 .Not so for Vic Santos in S/S because of an even number he'll have to wait another round .Congrats to both who are ASRA racers who are here often .

The weatherman lied again - no Sun so far this morning .........maybe I can get work as his assistant as my batting average is better than his lately .And unlike my boss Ken he shows up everyday - its been tough sledding this weekend with no help .Are you listening Kenny ??? Yeah , I know he's a busy guy and all but today he will probably spend the day decorating his garage or something .

And then lets not forget its Fathers Day - here's hoping all the dads out there enjoy the day - you've earned it .
