Yesterday Ford racers ( and the rest of us ) had an unexpected visit from Ford Racings' Jesse Kershaw as he was in New York friday and decided to spend Saturday seeing what Raceway Park and D1 racers are all about ..............

Good Morning kids -- I can tell you one thing for sure - even at this early hour it hot and sticky out there as today its expected to get into the nineties with high humidity and thundershowers are to be this afternoon if you can believe the forecasters .Right now the Sun is out but who knows for sure what is coming .

Racers are again sleeping in his morning - we'll get going a litle after ten am with everyone getting their final shot at the Raceway Park asphalt .

Back a little later ...........

Oh, and BTW -pay attention to the last photo in the sequence - its John Leach holding his newest gadget - a air pressure gauge with numbers big enough that we could all read without the aid of reading specs.Moroso makes it .........

Stock just had their final hit -- holy sidecar Batman is it slow out there ! ! temp around 90 already and very humid coupled with the barometer that dropped two tenths .Oh and did I mention 112 plus grains of water .S/S up soon .Hope the boss is taking pics as I'm in the bus soaking up the AC ...........
