Looking at SBC sets in Competition Products catalog.
Most are .250 pin rollers.
It used to be people wouldn't use rollers because they would break.
Urban legend?
Does anyone use regular split link chains anymore?

Mark, I drove my 8000 RPM 383" LT1, solid roller, lots of spring on the street for a couple of years before I made an SS car out of it with zero problems. Then ran the same Rollmaster chain set up in my first SS engine for two seasons. never one issue. Put them in a lot of drag/lake boats also.
