Re: Vintage Trailer review
Lyn: Bought a new one at Westside 2 yrs ago only had 3 things I didn't like 1)The side door steps down in instead of flush so you have to step over the edge-I have fixed that. 2)The 48" flush mount door will only clear 45 1/4" 3) The 12volt trailer wiring junction box is underneath the trailer so really inconvenient if you need to do any roadside repairs. Re: Vintage Trailer review
My first trailer was a vintage 28, other than the screws coming loose every trip, the roof leaking the 15" tires blowing out, then the floor rotten, due to the roof leaking, it wasn't a bad trailer. Factory in ind trailer in TX, Bring to them for any warranty. Dealer could not do the repairs. Would not buy another one.

I just bought a full custom designed 28' Tag with a 12' living quarters from Vintage and my experience was exceptional. Their ability to produce a trailer that is just what you want and specify in a very reasonable time frame is second to none. They are sold through a network of dealers and I would contact them to get a "good" dealer recommendation. Once the trailer starts construction Todd and the crew at Vintage do an exceptional job. You won't go wrong with a Vintage Trailer.

Re: Vintage Trailer review
I have a 28 ft Vintage, a 2000 model. Im in the process of updating the inside and I have had 2 issues. 2 in 10 yrs. Mine was built(maybe?) before the 1 pc roofs were common, and had to reseal the roof, screws coming loose on ceiling panels. Ive corrected both now. Both doors are still in their place, and work good, like they should, especially for 17 yrs old. It still pulls good, like it was 15 yrs newer. Id buy another.

As a matter of fact the last 3 enclosed I have had sold for more than I paid for them. Being in California helps cause they are all built out east and getting them out here is expensive. I had mine built right after the PRI show so I got the extra discount and it arrived out here the first of March just in time for our season to start. |
Re: Vintage Trailer review
Look also at TPD trailers.
The quality is one of the best. I have a 40' with living quarters and its loaded with lots of support equipment and separate shower and toilet. |
