My '64 Savoy will keep it's bench seat for that same reason...they look like some roundy round crap, plus I would have to change my roll bar because the new seats put me more than 6" away from the bar.

I believe Kirkey makes a bracket/spacer to fill that 6" void. I prefer the stock seats also,but it is hard to ignore the benefit of moving 40-50 lbs. to the weight box. Especially with a iron headed big block up front. Speaking of weight shifting, all the Camaros that were made to remove the cowl induction hood lost 30 lbs. off their nose. |
