Thanks Guys,
I'm just asking because I have these parts , see attachments, from another car, and was wondering if they would be ok, as they are needed on the car I want to make into a Pure Stocker. They are all bolt on type. If not, I would then have to enter a standard stock class correct? As well I have frame connectors on it. FWIW.
Very few rules are different between Stock and Pure Stock. A or B Pure Stock may need similar safety equipment from M Stock and above. Such as a Roll Bar and Safety Harness. Pure Stock are the older 70s 80s Stocker rules. Safety still rules! D |

i can't see where that type of suspension would help this car especially if it will be an automatic. If you have good bushings in the stock control arms, that is all you need.
Put some new shocks on and some good slicks or drag radials and it will hook anywhere you race. By changing all of that, you are getting away from the intention of the current pure stock. If pure stock is meant to be an entry level class, you certainly don't need to spend $800 on those parts. They look to be too adjustable for the way the rule book reads anyway. |

As for good bushings...oh yes. Stock ones with a bunch of miles on them will get the crap beat out of them drag racing. Again chassis upgrade parts are more for safety and reliability. D |
