Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Pomponi family . Bill was truley one of the good guy's , loved cars and drag racing with all his heart . It was a pleasure to call Bill my friend .

Bill and I would compare notes back in the seventies. We both ran '69 Camaros and sticks in stock. Thoughts and prayers to the Pomponi family. "Bhalu" will be surely missed. RIP Bill.

Truly sad news! Bill was always friendly and most pleasant to speak with. He is a great example of what drag racing is truly about- he spent his weekends racing and crewing with his son!
