The main reason that I went to E-town was the Factory Stock Showdown, and David Barton was the star of the show. From the 8.321@164.77 on Thursday to the 8.256@165.58 on Friday; no one else was even remotely close to him in performance. Congratulations to car owner Gary Wolkwitz; and, of course, to engine builder and driver David Barton.

No I mean this Factory Showdown could be the next Pro Stock but nhra does not see how popular it is

24 races a year and money would kill the whole thing. Its the nature of professional racing, payouts can't keep up with spending.
