The Powermaster 9400 clears fine and pictures the Tilton looks like it would too. Thanks for the help.

Laugh all you want but it works. I was going to buy a new starter and talked to mark payne, House of Payne electric< this is what he suggested. I have a spare one that came from AutoZone on a junk yard motor. It's been on big blocks and big small blocks at the track when their high dollar starter let them down. Fits my tow vehicle also and it's been on that too.

I used one like that for a while,(until it let me down) but beware many of the internal parts are plastic I was told by a rebuilder.

The starter that Eman referred to can be had with good parts in it. I have used one for years in 11 to 1 small block.

I had one Tilton starter. It was short lived but that was before I went 16v. I usually get about 5-6 seasons from a starter.

Nice car, works well, Never Ever Ever squared off with anyone in Competition of a Heads Up No Breakout Performance Class.

Add the abrasive arrogant attitude and you wonder why people have the same reaction to your responses.

Come to Indy with your CAR IN A LEGAL GT class for heads up Competition. See what you really know.
