oldskool: Mick Leiferman's car was gold in color. I think he ran the standard 455 engine
in his car . He later raced a 73 GTO with the 455 S.D. engine. After that he bought my 67 Pontiac firebird modified car and turned it into a super gas / super street car with a 455 S.D. engine .

That's interesting. Since the SD455 was never released in a '73 GTO, what class did he run ?

Today, I suppose he could run GT Super Stock.

I haven't seen many '73 GTO drag cars.
