Re: Oil pan for 3rd gen f body SBC
I have a Milodon laying around that was on the last Stocker 305 I had built. Remember it fit well. The 305 didn’t catch much air in the Camaro. I’ll measure the Comp Products pan next week I’m in El Paso headed to Chicago and Milwaukee next.

Are we talking NHRA Stocker legal or other?

Re: Oil pan for 3rd gen f body SBC
My car is strictly a bracket car with a stock K member and solid Moroso mounts.

I made a sketch of the pan and K-member clearances. From front of pan to sump is 11". Distance between front of sump and K-member is 1". Distance between bottom of pan, non-sump area, is 1/4"-3/8". Not sure if the sketch will attach.

Thanks for the sketch! I see it's pretty tight between the pan and K member, are you using solid motor mounts?. I'm debating notching the K member when I have the motor out.
Again thanks for measuring and have a Happy New Year! |

Solid Moroso motor mounts and stock K-member.

Old motor is still in the car. This is a Milodon 30900 which has the stock front section style pan that is tapered at the front. I pulled the diaper back to measure and it is tight between the centerlink and the K member. I have Moroso solid mounts but they must make taller ones than mine. |
