They just corrected an error for the 92 model Lt1 corvette. On the last hp adjustment for the corvette 92 model should have been adjusted 5hp for 92-96 model. They just missed 92 model for some reason.

Seems odd to me that 300hp chevy is rated at 279 hp while the255hp is 280hp ?69 396/325 is now 316 yet the 68 remains 320 in a chevelle /same car ,same engine? Also this is the only time That I can remember taking hp of a current record holder. Lots of other miscues . No malice entended, just saying. Rick

Yet the low performance 1973 350/175 is still rated at 287 HP factored! Just weird how far these combo's are over factored and others under factored.

And they increase horsepower (by 4) for 73-74 Buick Apollos that topped the qualifying chart at Indy in the #94 and 104 positions........... Lack of real reasoning.

The HP increases are automatic. To get a reduction in HP for your combo you have to submit the AHFS form on the NHRA competition web site and ask for a HP reduction review. The reduction is usually only for the combo that was requested. I did it a couple of years ago for my combo and got 4 HP back. I think you have to wait 2 years between reductions. You have to be currently running the combo for a valid request.

Isaac, Not supposed to be any reasoning involved.
If it had more than one , one second under strike during the rating period, plus an average for the combo of - .85 or more, then it gets HP.
The concerned parties can research it. If they think it's a mistake, call Pat C. ,and he will look it up.

94 and 104 are better than some combinations can do. I know several LT1's guys that would like to be able to qualify that high, I'm one of them. :)
