Re: Dime rocket hemi?
This has all kinds of bad written all over it. Unless you have a nice roller to start with, just finding a decent shell, with all of the necessary trim and etc intact will blow the typical "dime rocket" budget. A lot of the Wagon parts are unique to the Wagon also.
I have a '66 Coronet, a pair of re-chromed bumpers alone got me for $1800. Start there and think this through thoroughly... |

Re: Dime rocket hemi?
I have a few names you might consider for your new Dollar Rocket ... " MONEY PIT" .... "BLACK HOLE" .... "401K" ...." CLINTON FOUNDATION" .... just a start.

Bailey, you have moved to the DarK SidE of the contest, and therefore you cannot comment on things that eat the top of trees. Probably over your head anyway.

I think Jim was trying to relate his past experience with his last black car.

Re: Dime rocket hemi?
hey, how about an old Kcar with a 2.6 in it?
they had "hemi" emblems on them;) |
Re: Dime rocket hemi?
This man speaks the truth. There's an '81 hemi Reliant wagon out back here at my place. The emblems are for real.

What an ugly thing to say. I know it's true. It was a dark time in Chrysler history and may the words Hemi and K-Car never be spoken together again. |
