Exactly - we will arrive Thursday night and pit Friday morning.

Don, I really believe that you spend toooo much time in that hot, Arizona sun. There is a pizza company nearby that spends quite a bit of money on advertising. They open at 10 am in the morning. If you show up at their door at 8 30 am they would not let you in , you would not be served. Their business and employees open at 10 am....Hard to argue with Papa Johns....or NHRA......

There “ were” many companies who spend millions of advertising dollars to get customers to come to their business to spend their money .Each Business has had this story Many customers were waiting outside the business to buy expensive products .it was early morning there were 21 customers all waiting to get into the business to spend their money some were upset cause THEY WERE THERE TO do business and spend their hard earned money, some customers just left never to do business with that company again, but the manager and all the employees were just all trying to ignore the customers who were waiting to get into the business .The manager was ignoring all 21 customers wanting to come into the store . I ask the manager why he did not let the customers in early he said he would not open early for anyone period and was arrogant about it I told him his company has spent millions of advertising dollars to get customers to do business with them why did he then not take Care of them he laughed and said they will have to wait, well many other businesses are out of business as well as Circuit City and now everyone knows why .

Back in the day, we started to let the waiting customers
in at 7a instead of 8a and within two months picked
up 17% in sales. Can 't hurt to try to make the customer
happy. It worked for us!

While I'm not a believer in getting to a race 4 days before event.
The Pizza Co. will let you park in the parking lot until it opens at 10am.

This should get some flames,

NHRA can spell out the rules on exact time and procedure in parking , but not excessive braking.
Excessive Parking in black and white but not Excessive Braking. Amazing
