I have an off-topic question or two. I know you have worked with the All Access feed. I'm going to get that for the rest of this season. While I have an "unlimited" data plan, the provider tends to throttle usage after hitting 22 Gig of usage - it slows down significantly sometimes. Do you have a general estimate of how much data is fed during an average day with All Access? Also, do the upload speeds from the track vary from hour-to-hour, day-to-day and track-to-track? Thanks, Bob |

No, you're not the only one blocked. The copyright police got me for some background music. I have edited the Friday video and will be reposting it as soon as I can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bob - I am not sure of the daily / hourly data amount, but what typically happens is the stream throttles to accommodate the device and the bandwidth available, so even at at reduced bit rate the quality should be fine.

Re: D3TV Coverage from Lucas Oil Raceway April 28-30, 2017
Today's racing has been rained out.
From NHRA Division 3: "With the amount of rain the venue has received this week, there is water coming up through cracks and flowing through the walls of the drag strip. With only more rain to come, we have decided to postpone the rest of the Ray Skillman Chevrolet Spring Spectacle of Speed until the August event. We will begin parking on Wednesday, August 9th, one hit on the track on Thursday, August 10th, and then go immediately into eliminations for the postponed event. Friday, August 11th, will begin the normal schedule for the second divisional event here at Lucas Oil Raceway. All vouchers, that were available at the Ray Skillman Autogroup dealerships, will still be valid for any day admission during the August event. So do not throw those away if you couldn't attend this weekend. We want to thank the racers who chose to travel and compete this weekend. We certainly were trying to complete this event this weekend but Mother Nature is undefeated. NHRA North Central Division 3 will be posting more information later, and we will be sure to share on our page as well." |
