Dave

If "Old Guy(s)" learned to check Live Timing they'd probably already have the answers they're looking for. Haha.

Sheets after Q2 attached. There's a cleanup session coming up yet. 2 more hits tomorrow.

And yes...LOTS of bagging.

Please pass on my howdy to Harry Holton as I haven't seen him in years.
Knew him when he was in Patterson and I would visit my grandparents and I got to cruise 10th and 11th in Modesto. LOL

Good Luck at the races.

Kind Regards,
Harold Bettes

I will. I remember your Grandpa!

Good Morning!

Looks like it's going to be slower today than it was yesterday. Barometer fell some more overnight (to 29.82") and it's going to be 89 deg as a high temp here later.

I neglected to post conditions for the 2nd Q session of Stock yesterday. My Performaire PC showed 81 deg, 38%, 29.86", .409 VP, and 2096' DA with a 2mph sidewind.

More later.

# 1 qualifier has a phantom combo....doesn't exist ( as shown on the list)

It shows a 230 cu in. engine.
A 1983 T-Bird with the 232 cu. in. V-6 is legal but it would fall into a T , U, or V class

It's a 2300 turbo

Yea he showed up at a Fallon divisional a few years ago and was number one - he lost first round -- I did a little research and questioning but they let him run - we should have been number one. We were runner up from number two position.

When he got to Sonoma he was in a different class and not number one.

No 83 Thunderbirds with a 2300 came with an automatic

That driver has a history of not classifying his car correctly. (even after he was told which class and at which weight he should be at )
Seems Div. 7 does not care

Glad that someone is looking at these combos, looks as though the racers will need to police themselves due to shrinking tech....however, this combo has been around forever since Tom Reider showed up at INDY in R/s.....Notice it was a stick shift.....
