Bucky Hess; Was # 1 in qualifying last year and only a few thou off “The Racer” when eliminations began with Jason Line power AND he is a tree chopper to boot.
Jimmy Daniels: He won it all as a rookie last year (thanks to “The Racer”) and if that motor is not in Wolkwitz car, will be fast again.
Steve Kent; This year he will have the correct gearing and jetting for his Reher Morrison power and was a solid #2 qualifier in the heat at the Sports Nationals and will be pitted with “The Racer”.
Gary Wolkwitz; Current national record holder with a beautiful and fast car. Would have been deep in eliminations last year if not for “The Racer”.
Steve Comella; He is the new owner of the red Westcott powered repeat winner and friends with “The Racer”.
Steve Yantus (Waldo); The newest member of the Reher Morrison trifecta (thanks to The Racer) and was #3 qualifier at the Sports Nationals . Had a 001 light in the final and would have won if not for (you guessed it) “The Racer”.
Lloyd Wooford; Certainly will have a fresh Caro motor in a very nice car and is always fast. He also has 2 of “The Racers” Ben Franklins from previous encounters.
Wendell Howes; This is the dark horse as he has discovered some new tricks (thanks to “The Racer”) and he has been in the final before.
Gus Mantas; The second dark horse running a fresh plant with Westcott parts and has been in the final before. The OTHER fast blue car. What? Where is “The Racer”
