Yes, I think they said Texas Motorplex (D4), Mission (D6), Heartland Park (D5) & Rocky Mountain (D7) all host double events this season.

Does this mean the dutch classic will likely be Sept 28 to 30 nothing on mg site yet ? Will that be better or worse for weather ?

I know moving SGMP is not popular with some but stretching the schedule benefits more people than it hurts I think. There are alot of people like myself that can't take that many weekends off in a row because of work commitments. If I was gone that much in a span of a few weeks I think I would be forced to fire myself. The other side of that is if you have an engine failure like I did this year you miss alot of racing, on the other hand maybe I should give myself a raise so I can get a spare engine! I like the schedule with the exception of all of them being 2 day events, might should have kept the more heavily attended races to 3 days.

Yes, the Dutch is week early this year so it means you'll have to go South if you want to race in October

Maple Grove Raceway Dutch Classic -- September 28-30 (Test September 27)

I am fine with the div 2 schedule. It will effect the track owners more than the racers because there wont be the number of "Snowbird racers" at the division 2 races later in the year. The loner gap between the races is a plus for me as well due to work responsibilities and family. The two day races will be OK because Div 2 does not get large car counts any more. Div 2 is dying a slow death. We don't have any opens or Sportsnational type events in our division any more. Our div director is pretty lazy and does little to promote the division
