I had a pit spot next to these folks at the last LO race at Pacific Raceway. Wonderful people to talk to and great racers. Cal always had his head in his car. Hood up tuning or on jacks changing shocks in 90 degree heat looking for any advantage.

They have been known to swap a trans at the track and repair a broken suspension after banging the wall in qualifying.

A well deserved honor.

I've known Cal & MaryAnn for over 40 years (yes they are that old - but like my wife says, "Cal never looks a day older" - LOL). They have never changed who they are... they are simply in the group of "the best people God ever put on plant earth"!! Congrats Cal & MaryAnn - Love you guys

Congrats to both Cal and Mary Ann, got to know them in the 70's and 80's when we both ran 283 stockers. In 2001 when our whole family and race car went cross country, we went to the Woodburn lodrs race, as soon as we got there Cal was the first one over to greet us. Great people, well deserved.

A well deserved award for the hardest working racer and his wife, Cal has helped more racers than any oneelse.When I went to Indy with Cal and Mary ann in 2001 & 2004 I had one hell of a good time. Congradulations !!!!
