Re: Bob Glidden
No shortage of ghouls wanting to be the first to post either.

Re: Bob Glidden
Glad he's still with us. I'm a Mopar guy but Bob is the one guy I look up to. He could make a turtle fly, when he took that little Chrysler and made it a dominate winner when nobody else could, I new he was god.

Re: Bob Glidden
Even though there is some good stuff on there this is one of the reasons I stay off Facebook.
I hope Bob is still with us many years from now, He is a god. |

We saw Bob run at the '78 Cajun Nats. There were several seasons when it appeared that he really didn't have much serious competition. Then Lee Shepard started doing pretty good in the Reher Morrison Camaro. http://www.ultimateracinghistory.com...p?raceid=38440 http://www.hotrod.com/articles/take-5-with-bob-glidden/ https://www.motorsport.com/nhra/news...-lee-shepherd/ Then there was Grumpy & Dyno Don, & even the Hornet X. All were at the '78 Cajuns. The last pic shows Dyno Don's car beside Shirley's TF dragster, in the staging lanes. Glad we got to witness a small part of drag racing history. :) |
Re: Bob Glidden
Just did a search and no death mentioned.
