This is very sad news. My thoughts and condolences to the Vignogna family. Jerry and I always got together at the races to shoot the breeze. He'll be missed. RIP.

this life just never seems to get any easier...heard of Jerry's passing Wednesday...took awhile to gather myself up...send our very sincerest condolences to Vignogna family...Jerry indeed a very good racer...way past that as a person...I've been fortunate to have Lou,Ray,George's genuine friendship for many years as well...NEVER to be forgotten...RIP Jerry...God speed...Drake-Laura Viscome & family

So sorry to learn this. Jerry suggested that I race my 70 challenger in stock 10 plus years ago at epping, showed me the NHRA engine blueprint sheet....always greatly enjoyed talking with him, his battles with the tree, two quick stories from this year come immediately to mind: Atco open Jerry shows up with his car on a construction trailer after a accident on the way.....thats dedication.....lebanon valley divisional.....watching together as one of the brothers under the car is pulling out a broken 8.75 while positioning it on a old plastic catch pan....Jerry said"I don't think its going to hold"....right as it broke cascading diff fluid everywhere...Classic

We will so miss Jerry. Eric, Rayna, Jack, Kara and the hounds Bruno and Belle
