Wow. I would have thought more than 1

But that's good to know if I get my block fixed and get it running a second under again

Not looking forward to the 2100 mile trip but I am getting my new trailer delivered to me there a few days before the start I am looking forward to that. 24 ft Intech Icon loaded nice replacement for my open hauler. Last time at Indy was Sept 1972 It has changed since then. Leaving for Sonoma next week for the double that place is fast.

The entries are trickling in now; but, by the beginning of August, they will be pouring in. Stock and Super Stock will hit the 180 quota and with the usual last minute withdrawals, there will be 165 - 170 cars in each class. Indy is still the biggest and best drag race in the world!

I've done it a couple of times and loved everytime! Qualified once, but its just a good time. I'll go back again for sure just gotta be fast !! You have to do it at least once in your life to experience it all.

According to Buck (before my time) the MOROSO party was the best fun ever - haybales for bleachers,, bands, BBQ, naked girls (not sorry I missed that part) beer and more beer - 17 cars in SS/J. That was real racing in the good old days.

Deep fried chicken, corn on cobb, beer and fighting I herd brought a end to the famed MOROSO party in a farmers field great night that was

Tops falling off the girls in the wet T shirt contest didn’t help either....Kudos to the farmer who made his field available for this get together....

21 SS/LA cars for class in 1979. Class winner got to play in the Super Stock eliminator and all others (including myself got to go home early). Still think it should be that way. First experience was in 74 in stock and didn't make it through Class tear down in the barn. lol
