We found Dad's 68 ram rod in northern Ohio. It has been restored to as raced and has been to Olds reunion where it got 1st place in show. Thanks to Tweed vorhees he had it restored.

The Stocker 1974 Matador wagon "Like A Rock" is now in "a barn" and you can "find it" and buy it turnkey for only $5000

If anyone wants to "legitimize" their race car as a true "barn find", your free to bring you car to my barn for a photo shoot. We can put it in the barn with some hay/chickens or pose it just outside the barn for effect. We can also put a tractor beside it for some reality. Adding cattle/pigs would be a cost item unfortunately. I can also loan you some overalls and a pitchfork if you need it.

Great thread by the way.

I watched a 'barn find' being staged for filming a couple of years ago, been pretty skeptical of all of them ever since. Every time that I have seen a car that has truly been sitting untouched for 10+ years, the brakes are seized and the tires are cracked to the extent that they won't hold air for even the amount of time that it takes to move it out of the 'barn'. How come they always roll right out the door on television? Not to say that the occasional hidden treasures doesn't exist, just thinking that most of the stories are pretty embellished.

How about a 66 street hemi Coronet meat hauler, and it was found in a NH barn. Pictured with original owner who comes here and drives it annually. Scratches from antlers still on it. Grade point getter....

I think it does. Cars are left everywhere. Its lucky to find them in barns because they are usually in better shape...

Not a barn find or a stocker but about in 1973 I bought a '66 Comet 2 dr sedan that was impounded for overtime parking for $10. Originally a 6 cyl, 3 spd with no options, not even a radio. Made it into a bracket car with a 390,C6 and 9in rear. Should have done a super stocker with it.

Alex,
Is some farm girl in her Daisy Dukes an Extra Cost feature?
Asking for a friend...

Too funny...not sure if we can do that , urban sprawl is taking away all our farm girls. Probably can find a hot momma behind us in the Cul De Sac that would like to pretend like she was back on the farm. Maybe instead of their mid morning/early afternoon jog they can help your friend with the photo.

Having fun,
Alex
