Re: Header fitment help
Have you tried bolting the headers to a SB chevy head to see if it fits.It could be a SB mopar the way the the flange is scalloped to allow for the upward plug angle. gsa612

Re: Header fitment help
It's not a SB mopar header.

Re: Header fitment help
How about full size Chev, like a 66 Biscayne?

Re: Header fitment help
Thanks everyone. Small Block Chevy for sure. I've bolted them up on my 327.
Bought them for my 81 Malibu gt car but didn't fit. Anyone want to buy them, I'll ship at your expense. Buy them if they fit. Send them back if they don't. Not sure what else to do with them. Too nice to scrap them. |
Re: Header fitment help
Looks like 55-57 Chevy to me?

Re: Header fitment help
If you knew the header would clear the crossmember/frame etc,you could modify the radius on the #5 and/or #6 pipe if there were any firewall,M/C issues. gsa612

Re: Header fitment help
Thanks Todd.
I think I may do that. A 3.5 inch collector is probably too big for my little 327, but these are really nice stepped headers. A small modification and a set of merged collectors and I may be in good shape. Hope to see you at the track this year! |
Re: Header fitment help
I wonder if they might be for 3rd gen camaro. What size are the primaries? How much would you want for them?
|
Re: Header fitment help
I would say they are for a dirt modified car.
