Re: barry grant fuel pump
I've used a Barry Grant 280 for years with only one problem. I let it sit without fuel in it all winter and the seals dried out and it leaked. I had it rebuilt at a national event for $25 and it is now my backup. I use a BG 2 port regulator with no return along with the 280 pump. It works great, fuel pressure is steady and volume is good.

A friend of mine is completely re-doing his stockers fuel system. Just a week before I convinced him to trash the BG parts he has now and go with aeromotive. It wasn't just my opinion but that of the speed shop that sells both aeromotive and BG. It all boiled down to one brand was flooded with warranty problems and the other had no warranty problems. |
Re: barry grant fuel pump
rgarvey,
You will be very pleased with the Aeromotive products. In my line of work I obviously talk with racers practically every day about fuel systems, not to mention that we've tried different ones on our own cars as well. I hear good and bad comments about almost every brand out there - except Aeromotive. I switched to Aeromotive on my car a couple of years ago and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. They have excellent customer service as well. If you want to talk with someone at Aeromotive, call Kyle Fickler at 913-647-7300. He is one of their Stock/Super Stock experts, and he is also a racer himself. Dean Oliver www.deanoscarbs.com |

Re: barry grant fuel pump
I agreee Zasko. I have 2 Holley blue pumps on my car that I have been using for about 20 years with out a failure. I use a 2 port billet regulator from ART
